Service Description

Art 1 is a high school level visual art class available to all grades 9-12. All student who desires to gain knowledge and develop their artistic skills in a variety of mediums are welcome to take this class as well as students who need to fulfill their visual and performing arts credits for high school graduations. Art 1 is designed to be an introduction into the visual arts through various drawing, painting, printing and mixed media methods. Students will have an opportunity to explore the elements of art, principles of design, and the language of art through micro lessons designed for students to learn basic and intermediate skills in a variety of art mediums.
